Arnold -
To quote Mike Winner (or was it Casey Stengel?), "We're getting too old for as young as we are."
How about calling this one the '6th annual 5th year reunion'?

I'm so excited someone has found our page!! Thanks
Greg and Arnold for visiting, but come back often
1) the way this is set up the messages only stay
on for 20 days, but I am keeping a log of them
and will add them to our home page!! 2) You can see
who's been here and what is going on!!
We need some ideas, we want to do a T-shirt for the
reunion and need a slogan or saying or if anyone is
artistic a drawing!! What do you think? And we
are thinking about doing them Ty-dyed!! You can post
your message here or email me. sizlegal@aol.com.

30th Reunion

Becky -
You did a wonderful job putting together the website!!!
For all our classmates out there - got an idea...
Is anyone interested in getting together at the Pour House the night before the reunion
(Friday, 9/19)?
Yes, the legend lives. The Pour House still exists! A couple of us checked it out a few
weeks ago - it was liking walking into a time warp...the land that time forgot.
It looks the same. It feels the same. It even smells the same. Absolutely nothing has
changed - they still have the same curtains that were there 30 years ago. The little round
tables are still sitting outside rusting in the gravel patio with weeds growing all around
them; there are a couple of yard glasses covered with a thick layer of dust hanging above
the bar; the ham & cheese plate sign is still hanging above the area where the popcorn
machine is (the sign still says $2.25 for a plate - what I wouldn't give for a ham & cheese
plate now); the picture of the old guy with the corn cob pipe is still hanging on the door to
the bathroom door; the pay phone is still on the wall by the door (it still works); and
Mark Olson's personal reserved stool is still at the corner of the bar (nobody was sitting
on it while we were there).
There were only 3 customers in the place while we were there - obviously regulars and
obviously borderline comatose (I don't think they were WR grads, but I suppose they
could have been - could have been Ronnie Fish or Danny Baxter maybe.)
As we were leaving, I closed my eyes, listened closely and thought I could still faintly
hear the sound of Steinmetz barfing in the back parking lot after drinking 4 white
Russians and running around the outside of the place 4 times screaming something
unintelligible about someone named 'Sharon'. Or maybe it was just the gurgling sound of
Sue Hedger or Coni Chancellor chugging another Labatt's. Or it could have been the
sound from the parking lot of the Temptations playing on the 4-track player in Mike
Winner's Corvair.
When's the last time you had a 'red-eye' or a 'clear-eye' or a gallon of three-two beer in
a plastic jug or a rum and coke in a 3-foot tall yard glass?
When's the last time someone said to you, "Meet me at the Pour House"? How about
8:00 Friday night?
